This week, Year 3 students were introduced to a new song - "There Was An Old Woman Who Swallowed A Fly"!
The students began by listening to the story and giggling at the fantastic pictures in the book. A lady with lots of animals in her tummy was a funny sight! As a class, they then watched and listened to a video of the song, following Miss Davies' actions.
Could the students remember the order of the animals the old woman ate? They certainly could! Each Year 3 student completed the worksheet, drawing the animals in wonderful and creative ways.
I think the new song was a hit! And is another track to add to the Year 3 reportoire. Why not ask your child to perform the song for you at home?
